Diving is our passion and enthusiasm. In the diving courses offered here, we train you with fair and transparent pricing, from beginner to advanced sport diver. During the training, you will not only learn to dive but also how to handle the aquatic environment carefully, so that this sensitive and fragile ecosystem can continue to be protected as effectively as possible.

Why Tauchsport Pape?

You don't learn to dive with a diving association, but with a diving instructor. Whether your instructor can provide you with good training depends largely on their experience. Our instructors are not only diving instructors with well over 1000 dives each, but also experienced divers and technical divers. They also possess a vast theoretical knowledge, far exceeding the minimum standards of the associations. They have experienced a lot and can pass on their extensive experience, be it during the course, if something doesn't go as planned, or after the course, when it comes to travel destinations, further education, or equipment. As the only dive center in the region, we think outside the box and can train according to the standards of various diving associations, each with its own focus. If you are unsure which diving association and which certification is right for you, please contact us. If you started with one association and want to continue with a course from another association, that's also no problem; the basic standards are aligned and compatible via the WRSTC (World Recreational Scuba Training Council). Moreover, as a dive school, we have the longest experience in the area.

Why SSI?

SSI is one of the most popular diving associations in Europe, based in Germany, founded in 1970. The certifications are recognized worldwide. The course theory is online and supplemented by us during the course. Through your online access, you can access your course theory at any time, even after the course, and view your certifications online. You can also receive a printed certification card in addition. The courses are didactically and graphically excellently designed, and you can easily learn the content and check your learning progress. With SSI, the course structure and sequence are quite flexible and adapt to your interests and time. Specialty courses or packages of specialty courses, according to your interests, define the flexibility of this training system.

Why PADI?

PADI is the diving association with the most certifications worldwide. PADI certifications are known and recognized almost globally. With your registration, you also acquire online access to your course theory with PADI. You can start the theory before the course and also take your final test. You can access your course for one year after your course via your PADI app or the PADI website. Your eCertifications are also stored there, to which you always have access. The courses are didactically well-developed and enable you to have a stress-free and easy entry into sport diving. The PADI training system is divided into individual levels, such as OWD, AOWD, Rescue Diver etc., which are trained sequentially. PADI was founded in 1966 in the USA and has its headquarters in California.

Why IANTD?

IANTD was the first association to develop diving with Nitrox for recreational diving; this was the first of many pioneering achievements with which this association set new standards. The courses take place in person, and the theory documents are available in PDF or print form. The theory is particularly extensive with regard to diving physics and diving medicine, and the courses include more water time than other recreational diving courses. At IANTD, there are no specialty courses; each diving course is detailed and comprehensive in itself. All open water dives take place in a cold water configuration, which enormously increases safety. Even as an Open Water Diver, you learn to route the primary regulator on a long hose and to wear your reserve regulator around your neck (neckless). If you are interested in technical diving, cold water diving, or solo diving from the outset, IANTD is your best choice. IANTD was founded in 1985 in the USA and has its headquarters in Florida.
