The Apeks ATX 40 DS4 Basic Saver Set is a perfect companion for divers looking for a robust and cold-water-suitable regulator that is also suitable for holidays. The combination of an Apeks regulator and a smooth-operating travel regulator is exactly what divers need to achieve optimal breathing performance in all conditions.
The balanced design of the first and second stages ensures easy breathing underwater, regardless of cylinder fill or depth. The overbalanced, diaphragm-controlled 1st stage is equipped with DIN 300 bar connections, which are also suitable for 200 bar cylinders. The 1st stage is completely sealed and features a high-pressure port for pressure gauges or transmitters, as well as 4 medium-pressure ports for the 2nd stage, octopus and inflator hose.
The pneumatically balanced 2nd stage offers excellent breathing performance and is independent of depth and cylinder pressure. The heat exchanger ensures that the regulator can be used without restriction in cold water. The Venturi control regulates the flow rate of the breathing air and allows the diver to adapt the breathing performance to the current conditions.
The compact design of the regulator also includes an integrated bubble deflector, which improves breathing behavior. The purge button is very easy to operate and makes handling the regulator particularly simple.
The saver set includes the Apeks ATX 40 DS4 regulator with first and second stages and hose, as well as the ATX 40 octopus with a long hose. All components are delivered fully assembled and tested, so the diver is ready to go immediately.
