Designed for the toughest conditions, the MK17 EVO 2 / G260 regulator system
offers compact, comfortable breathing performance - even in icy depths or murky
wrecks. The MK17 EVO 2 is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the MK17 EVO
as well as the MK19 EVO. A forged body and a dry chamber with a
dual spring arrangement ensure higher reliability and a particularly compact
design. In combination with the G260 - with its metal internal components,
the enlarged exhaust valve, the precise adjustment options for the
inhalation resistance, and the reversible hose attachment - you get a
high-performance regulator system for the most extreme diving conditions. The MK17
EVO 2 / G260 regulator system is your partner for precision, performance, and
trust underwater.
1ST STAGE
Thanks to the new design, significantly smaller and lighter than the MK17 EVO and the
MK19 EVO
The design is based on a forged brass body and a
dry chamber with a dual spring arrangement for compactness and reliability
The sealed, balanced diaphragm is the ultimate compact first stage for
cold water or contaminated diving conditions
The air-balanced diaphragm ensures a constant and effortless airflow,
regardless of depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate
The dry chamber is completely sealed against contamination by the diaphragm system.
The rib is designed to improve heat exchange and make the first stage more resistant to cold water.
Two opposing high-pressure ports, arranged at an angle of
15º, allow the first stage to be positioned either upwards
or downwards, and enable optimal hose/transmitter arrangement
Due to the positioning of the high-pressure port, no transmitter adapter is required.
Weight (g): INT 232 – 797g; DIN 300 – 572 g
Intermediate pressure (230 bar): 9.2 - 9.8
2ND STAGE
Balanced inhalation resistance at different diving depths and
with changing tank pressure thanks to a pneumatically balanced valve
Position-independent, maximum breathing sensitivity through the use of an
extra large diaphragm and housing made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon
Higher impact resistance due to annular front cover made of anodized aluminum
Higher resistance to freezing thanks to metal components and metal valve tube
Inhalation resistance continuously adjustable by the diver
No free-flow when used as an octopus or in cold water thanks to VIVA switch
(Venturi adjustment)
Lower exhalation resistance thanks to enlarged exhaust valve
Flexible LP hose attachment to the housing (left/right) e.g., for
technical diving
"Superflow" hose with increased airflow
Highest wearing comfort due to comfortable, ergonomic mouthpiece
CE certification according to the latest European standard EN 250A for all
diving conditions, including cold water
Weight (without mouthpiece): 268g
