Prerequisite: CCR Advanced Nitrox or ART Diver, diving fitness, insurance
Duration: 6-10 days
Additional costs: Entrance fees, gases if applicable, rental equipment, travel expenses
You will learn to plan and execute decompression dives up to 60 meters (or 70 meters with Plus) with your rebreather.
Here you will primarily learn that Trimix dives from this level onwards can be carried out much more efficiently and cost-effectively. Helium, which is required for Trimix diving, has become very expensive. With a rebreather, you only need vanishingly small amounts of it, so the prices for gas mixtures are negligible. If you do OC Trimix dives at 60 MSW or deeper, the gases alone for the course will cost you 1200-200 €
IANTD Philosophy
The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers has been a pioneer in technical diver training for over 30 years. As the first international diving association, IANTD introduced diving with Nitrox and suitable Trimix into recreational diving to reduce nitrogen narcosis. At IANTD, both open-circuit divers and CCR (rebreather) divers can find excellent training programs and instructors.
The pricing for technical diving courses differs from that of recreational diving courses. There is a pricing structure for Tec Beginner diving courses, but this is not effective for advanced or Trimix courses.
Many Tec diving courses include phases of training and phases of personal coaching.
We'll start by diving, and then we'll create a training plan for you that will lead you where you want to go.
If we don't know your training level, a check-out dive is mandatory to assess your current skill level.
Additional costs: Learning materials, certification 89€, entrance fees, gases, rental equipment
