That goes well with that.

It pays to take good care of your equipment. With us, your equipment is in experienced hands.

Why is it important to have your regulators serviced?

Regulators must be serviced every 100 dives, annually, or every 2 years, depending on the manufacturer, to ensure their functionality and your insurance coverage. Medium-pressure and high-pressure hoses must be replaced every 5 years.

We can accept all regulators for service and repair. We process the following brands in-house:

  • Apeks
  • Scubapro
  • Aqualung
  • Tecline
  • Oceanic
  • Atomic
  • Hollis
  • Zeagle
  • AP Diving
  • JJ CCR
  • IQ Sub
  • For these manufacturers, we are also a certified specialist workshop and are authorized to perform servicing according to manufacturer guidelines. We can also accept all other types of regulators, but we forward them to a partner workshop. The price for servicing consists of labor for 1st and 2nd stages, the manufacturer's service kits, and any spare parts.

How long does a regulator service take?

Duration: Approx. 1 week (unless we need to order spare parts)

What happens during a regulator service?

We offer your service at a fixed price, and the following work is performed by us:

Incoming inspection
Disassembly
Manual cleaning and ultrasonic bath cleaning
Drying and assembly with original service kits
Testing on our test bench
Creation of a service report

Spare parts not included in the service kit will be replaced and installed after prior consultation.

To optimally adjust the 2nd stages of the regulators, we work with a test bench and create a report. We thoroughly test the regulator, both the first and second stages, for at least 12 hours.

By commissioning the service, our terms and conditions and our working rules apply:

  1. We carry out the maintenance of regulators with approval and according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  2. We document our work. After a successful service or repair, you will receive the replaced old parts for documentation and a service report.
  3. The servicing of regulators should take place within the intervals recommended by the manufacturer (usually 1-2 years). If these intervals are exceeded, it can lead to defects or additional costs.
  4. The servicing (maintenance) of regulators includes the following work: - Disassembly, cleaning, assembly with original parts, adjustment, function test, documentation.
  5. If defects or unusual wear are found during the incoming inspection or after disassembly, you will be informed and will receive a repair cost estimate, if repair is possible. Regulators that cannot be repaired will not be reassembled by us. The costs incurred at the respective stage of work, i.e., labor costs and costs for consumed materials, will be waived.
  6. High-pressure and medium-pressure hoses are to be replaced after 5 years according to manufacturer's specifications. If the hoses show defects after visual inspection, you will be informed. In the case of defective or worn hoses, final assembly and adjustment of the regulators will not be carried out. The costs incurred at the respective stage of work, i.e., labor costs and costs for consumed materials, will be waived.
  7. During disassembly, small scratches or small deformations can occur on plastic parts. This is unavoidable depending on the condition, contamination, and wear of the regulator and is excluded from our liability. Existing damage will be documented during the incoming inspection. Encapsulated pressure gauges will not be serviced because the plastic encapsulation would be damaged.
