Small pouch attached to the butt plate when sidemount diving, ideal for a spare mask, wet notes, or a backup light
Sidemount divers know the problem: where to put essential additional equipment such as spools, SMBs, spare masks, or wet notes? Unlike normal ADV jackets, most sidemount systems do not have pockets. The non-expandable sidemount pouch CAVE by xDEEP solves this problem. The Cordura pouch is attached to the sidemount harness with an included bolt snap, so it is located under the diver's buttocks, or between the thighs, during the dive. Advantage: the streamlined shape is completely maintained, fin kicks are not affected, and easy access is ensured. The CAVE pouch is large enough to carry, for example, two spare masks. Or, for example, a finger spool with a double-ender and SMB, as well as wet notes. To prevent small items from accidentally falling out when opening, they can be secured to the internal D-rings. If more equipment is needed and the CAVE becomes too small, then the expandable sidemount pouch from xDEEP might be just the right thing!
