Disinfectant for cleaning the inner bladders of jackets, valves, hoses, and rebreather counter-lungs.
Chemgene HLD4L disinfectant was selected for its ability to kill a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, including Legionella, Weil's disease (Leptospirosis) pathogens, Hepatitis, Herpes, Influenza, Tuberculosis, and HIV. When used correctly, Chemgene has a very low hazard risk and is odorless.
As it is sold as a concentrate, Chemgene should be diluted with cold drinking water for rinsing out/pouring over, spraying or soaking equipment. The recommended dilution ratio is 100:1 (water : Chemgene) for routine cleaning and up to 10:1 for particularly thorough soaking.
Important cautionary note: After the equipment has been disinfected, it should be thoroughly rinsed with plenty of cold drinking water until the disinfectant is completely washed off and then allowed to dry normally.
