At first glance, you will surely notice the ribbed joint on the front of the Express ADJ fin, which is not intended as an eye-catcher, but plays an important role in diving – this "armadillo joint" absorbs a large part of the energy from your leg movement and transfers it amplified to the fin blade. Thus, you achieve maximum efficiency with little effort, which can certainly make a difference, especially in currents or during longer and equipment-intensive dives.
Otherwise, the entire fin design is engineered for good efficiency with low strain, as the flex joint on the side of the foot pockets takes some of the strain off your toes and ankles and transfers it to the fin blade, to make every kick more comfortable for you.
The lateral rubber ribs channel the water along the entire fin blade with every fin stroke to reduce water resistance and thus also the strain on your legs.
Designed from a very soft and comfortable material with varying elasticity, the foot pockets ensure that the fin always fits comfortably and that even with frequent and strenuous fin strokes no uncomfortable pressure points form on the foot.
In addition, the robust and very well-padded stainless steel spring straps ensure a secure and comfortable fit, even with intensive fin strokes.
