Using technology originally developed for space exploration and cryogenics, a novel suit could be created from the extreme insulation material A°RGON™ Aerogel in a compression-resistant matrix.
Thanks to this phenomenal material, the HALO AR offers extreme thermal protection - and it becomes a thinner, less buoyant undersuit.
The development of the suit builds on Fourth Element's experience in insulation, thermal protection, and body mapping. Thermal cameras supported the development process to continuously evaluate, improve and modify the prototypes.
The offset chest zipper minimizes heat loss from the upper body when horizontal in the water. The entire body from the shoulders to the knees is protected by a layer of A°RGON™, while other critical areas also benefit from this improved insulation without compromising mobility or adding bulk.
Equipped with a wind- and water-repellent stretch outer layer and comfortable thumb and foot loops, it can be worn all day long with absolute comfort.
Threading the P-valve hose is as easy as adjusting the two-way zipper.
