If we don't know your training level, a check dive is mandatory to assess your current training status.
Limits:
- no decompression dives
- up to max. 40 msw
- no jumps
- no exploration
What are the prerequisites to start the Intro Cave Course?
- Required certification:
- IANTD RCCR or OC Cavern Diver/limited Mine Diver or equivalent
- or IANTD Essentials Diver / Advanced Nitrox Diver (CCR or OC)
- IANTD RCCR or OC Cavern Diver/limited Mine Diver or equivalent
- Age requirement 18 years
- Basic knowledge of technical diving, buoyancy, trim and communication at the level of a certified Essential Diver or equivalent.
- Diving experience:
- at least 40 logged dives and 40 hours on the CCR used
- for a crossover from Intro to Cave or Mine (OC) to CCR Cave or Mine, you must have at least 20 logged dives and at least 30 hours on the CCR used
Equipment:

A CCR (Inspiration, JJ-CCR, XCCR or Flex2)

OC D12 or Twinset Sidemount 12L (2 sets due to filling logistics)
- Cold water equipment
- Own pressure gauge on each tank
- sufficient bailout (rule of thirds)
- 2 Reels/Spools (1x at least 60 meters, 1x at least 30 meters)
- 2 masks
- Handset, HUD, Backup Computer
- 2 cutting tools
- 1 main light (spot) and 2 backup lights
- Wetnotes
- 4 arrows and 4 personal markers

What does the Intro Cave/Mine Diver course include?
- Academic teaching units (theory)
- Teaching units in confined open water (pool or lake platform)
- Teaching units overhead
How long does the Intro Cave/Mine Diver course take?
The course can be completed when all performance requirements are met. Whether these are met depends on the candidate's training level, usually 6 days.
Prerequisites:
For all Tec diving courses, in addition to the appropriate equipment, you will need the following documents:
Diving medical certificate (not older than 1 year), insurance (DAN, Aquamed etc.)
