It can be switched from one user to another, even if your suit is in repair and you want to dive with another suit. It is guaranteed waterproof up to 100 meters, as are the vest and batteries. No additional cables are required. The remote control can be worn on the wrist or attached to another part of the equipment. If you press and hold the button on the controller for 3 seconds, the system switches on (make sure the batteries are also switched on individually, otherwise the system will not work!) A vibration signal can be felt on the abdomen when the system is switched on. By repeatedly pressing the button on the remote control briefly, the heating level can be changed. Each time, a corresponding vibration signal can be felt. By pressing and holding the button again for at least 3 seconds, the system switches off and a long vibration signal can be felt on the abdomen. The version of Li-ion batteries used is made with metal oxide instead of the usual phosphorus and cobalt. The latter two raw materials are the cause of batteries self-igniting. Venture Heat batteries therefore contain NO phosphorus and NO cobalt, but work with metal oxide, which can hardly self-ignite. Li-ion batteries with metal oxide are heavier than batteries with phosphorus and cobalt. In this case, this is an advantage for the diver, as it saves on the lead to be carried. If a battery self-ignites, there is a cause: the most common reason is that it is \"overcharged\" or the battery is damaged. Venture Heat batteries are monitored by an intelligence in the charger via a third contact during charging to prevent overcharging. The battery cells and the associated electronics are located in a capsule that is completely filled with an epoxy component, so that the cells and electronics are protected from damage and water under all circumstances. Interestingly, in the extremely rare cases where a battery catches fire, this happens during charging and not during use. From this, it can be concluded that in practically all cases there is overcharging or damage to the batteries. For peace of mind, it is good to know that fire requires 3 elements: temperature, oxygen and fuel. Underwater, there is no oxygen in the vicinity of the batteries, the temperature underwater can never be high enough to ignite, and thirdly, Venture Heat's Li-ion batteries are made of metal oxide, which contains hardly any fuel.
