X-Core provides extreme core thermal protection, allowing for longer, more comfortable dives.
Worn under an Arctic, Arctic Expedition, Halo 3D, or other drysuit, X-Core increases thermal protection to the point where electric heating can be dispensed with in many cases. The X-Core works best over a light base layer like J2 or Xerotherm, but can also be worn directly on the skin to protect the core.
The vest's sleeveless design minimises the impact on buoyancy and overall bulk, particularly around the shoulders and arms, where freedom of movement is crucial. The four-way stretch fabric combined with the long body design ensures a snug fit and minimises cold spots. The additional chest panel helps minimise cold air entry from the inlet valve, providing additional thermal protection in a key exposure area. The quick-drying fabric wicks sweat away, keeping the wearer drier and warmer.
