DESCRIPTION
First stage
• Compact, machined first stage based on the expedition-proven Apeks DS4 platform.
• The innovative, overmolded first stage end cap and environmental diaphragm prevent ice formation, which can lead to a free flow of the first stage under extreme conditions. It also protects the first stage from impact damage.
• The large-area heat exchanger diaphragm clamp helps increase the gas temperature in the first stage, leading to improved cold water performance.
• Unique over-balanced diaphragm design - as the diver descends, the over-balanced function allows the intermediate pressure of the gas in the hose to increase faster than the ambient pressure. This leads to superior performance at depth.
• With 2 HP ports and 4 MP ports.
Second stage
• The compact and lightweight second stage improves comfort and helps reduce jaw fatigue during long dives.
• Large heat exchanger for improved cold water performance and freeze resistance. High-performance, pneumatically balanced, lever-operated poppet valve.
